Hargraves Public School

 

Hargraves Public School is the oldest small school west of the Great Dividing Range.  Established in 1856, the school is situated in shady grounds with a grassy playing field, ball court and covered outdoor learning area. The School’s 150th anniversary was celebrated in 2006.

There are two classrooms, an administration building, a well equipped library, office and an historic church annexed to the main building.

The school is a focal point of the Hargraves Village. Strong parent and community support and involvement is a feature of the school.

 School Times
School commences at 9.00 am each day and concludes at 3.00 pm.
Recess is from 11.00 am to 11.20 am.
Lunch is from 1.00 pm to 1.55 pm.
